SEPTA needs to provide better
service today and 
expand for the future
simultaneously.
 

But it needs a consistent funding source to do that. To truly serve the Philadelphia region, we need a transit system that serves everyone and is up to a modern standard of operation. Unfortunately, we're not there yet.

Solutions: how do we fix this?

For now, SEPTA needs immediate help from the state government to keep operating normally.

But normal often isn't good enough.

SEPTA's funding structure has been flawed since the beginning.
